About Chris Vercelli BA, MATm, CPT: In addition to working with many hundreds of people over the past 12 years, Chris holds a degree in Exercise Science and has also completed over 740 hours of advanced coursework in biomechanics, joint and muscle function, injury rehabilitation, muscle testing and neurophysiology. He holds 4 elite professional certifications and is currently one of under 100 people in the world certified as a Muscle Activation Techniques Master Specialist. Chris and his team are also the areas first and only Positional Strength Training Practitioners, which is a cutting edge exercise process practiced by fewer than 30 people in the world.
Chris has written 3 books, has lectured at The Florida College of Natural Health and has been a continuing education provider for The The National Academy of Sports Medicine, The International Sports Sciences Association and The National Strength and Conditioning Association. He currently writes articles and newsletters that hundreds of people subscribe to and receive each month and he has had feature articles in The Bradenton Herald and The East County Observer and is a regular columnist for Play Magazine.
Chris has been interviewed on television by ABC 7 News, Great 38, SNN and on the radio by WSRQ. In addition to working with many active seniors, Chris has also been a consultant to professional athletes on The Pittsburgh Pirates, The Toronto Blue Jays, The Minnesota Twins and The Baltimore Orioles. In his spare time Chris enjoys playing sports and spending time with his 10 year old son Christian.
